Legal notice

This Legal Notice sets out who operates https://calvessira.shop, the rules that apply to the content published on it, and the disclosures required by Canada law. It supplements our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy.

The Site is owned and operated by Calvessira, an online retailer serving customers in Canada.

Calvessira is a purely online retailer. Correspondence, including formal notices, should be sent by email to the address above using the procedure in section 9.

2. Pricing and advertising

Prices on the Site are all-in prices for the product, consistent with the Competition Act's prohibition on drip pricing: no mandatory charge beyond the product price, delivery, and applicable taxes is added at checkout. Standard delivery is free. Taxes are displayed before you confirm your order.

We do not make false or misleading representations about price, quality, quantity, origin, or performance. Where a comparison price is shown, it is a price we actually charged. Where a review or testimonial is incentivised, that fact is disclosed.

If you believe any representation on the Site is inaccurate or misleading, email hello@calvessira.shop and we will investigate promptly. You may also contact the Competition Bureau of Canada or the consumer protection office of your province.

3. Product information and availability

We describe products as accurately as we can, including dimensions, materials, and contents. Colour reproduction varies between screens, and measurements may differ slightly between units. Availability and prices may change without notice; the price displayed when you place your order applies to that order.

If we discover an obvious pricing error before dispatch, we will contact you and you may confirm or cancel the order.

4. Copyright

All content on the Site — text, product descriptions, photographs, illustrations, graphics, logos, page layouts, and the selection and arrangement of content — is protected by copyright owned by Calvessira or its licensors, under the Copyright Act (Canada) and applicable international treaties.

You may view, download, and print pages for private, non-commercial use, provided you do not modify the content and keep all proprietary notices intact. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial exploitation requires our prior written consent.

5. Copyright complaints — notice and notice

Canada uses a "notice and notice" regime rather than a takedown regime. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to hello@calvessira.shop with the subject "Copyright Notice" that includes:

1. your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
2. identification of the copyrighted work concerned;
3. the URL and a description of the material you say is infringing;
4. a statement that you have a good faith belief the material is infringing;
5. a statement that the information in the notice is accurate; and
6. your signature (electronic signature accepted).

We will forward the notice to the person who posted the material, retain the notice in accordance with the Copyright Act, and notify you of the outcome. We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.

6. Trademarks

"Calvessira" and calvessira.shop, together with associated logos and product names, are trademarks of Calvessira. They may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not ours, in a manner likely to cause confusion, or in a way that disparages us, without our prior written consent.

Third-party trademarks appearing on the Site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. Their use does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

7. Liability for content and links

The content on the Site is provided for general information only. We try to keep it accurate and current, but we make no representation or warranty of any kind about its completeness, accuracy, or suitability.

The Site contains links to external websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, services, or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement. We remove links promptly if we become aware that a linked page is unlawful.

Nothing in this notice excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and the statutory warranties and consumer rights described in our Return and Refund Policy.

8. Privacy and electronic communications

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, PIPEDA, and the applicable provincial privacy laws, including the Quebec privacy regime as amended by Law 25.

9. How to send a legal notice

Formal legal notices — including copyright complaints, consumer complaints, and claims relating to an order — must be sent in writing to:

A notice must identify the sender and include a valid reply address, describe the matter with enough specificity to identify the order or content at issue, and state the relief requested. A notice sent to the address above is deemed received on the second business day after dispatch, provided no delivery failure notification is received.

We want the Site to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology. We work to follow recognised accessibility practices in page structure, colour contrast, and alternative text, consistent with the Accessible Canada Act and, for Ontario customers, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
