We run one store, calvessira.shop, and one customer service inbox, hello@calvessira.shop. There is no marketplace behind us and no third-party seller you have never heard of. When you order from Calvessira, you are ordering from us, and when something goes wrong you write to us and a person answers.

Our Story

Calvessira started with a frustration most online shoppers recognise. Buying something as ordinary as a lamp, a kitchen tool, or a set of storage boxes had become an obstacle course: pages cluttered with countdown timers, a headline price that grew at checkout once processing fees and shipping appeared, delivery dates that were quietly fictional, and return policies buried three clicks deep in a help centre designed to discourage you from reading them.

We thought the alternative was obvious. Show the product clearly. Show one total price, with delivery already free and taxes disclosed before you pay. Tell people how long delivery actually takes instead of promising two days and delivering two weeks. And if the item is not right, take it back without an argument.

That is the model we built. It is not complicated, but it is rare enough that we still have to explain it, and it takes discipline to keep it that way as a store grows.

What We Sell

Calvessira carries a focused catalogue of practical, everyday products — the kind of items you buy because you need them, not because an advertisement interrupted your evening. Our buying approach is deliberately narrow.

We choose products we would use ourselves. Every item has to pass a simple test: does it solve a real, ordinary problem, and does it do so reliably? If we would not order it, we do not list it.

We favour fewer, better listings. A catalogue of ten thousand near-identical variations makes shopping harder, not easier. We would rather carry a smaller number of products we can describe accurately, photograph honestly, and support properly.

We describe products plainly. Dimensions, materials, weight, and what is in the box are stated on the product page. If an item needs assembly, batteries, or a specific tool, we say so before you buy, not after.

We do not inflate claims. No product here will cure a medical condition, replace professional advice, or change your life in seven days. If a listing ever reads that way, it is a mistake and we want to hear about it.

Prices You Can Read at a Glance

Every price on calvessira.shop is the price you actually pay for the product: no processing fee, no handling fee, no minimum order value, and no surcharge that appears at the last step of checkout. Standard delivery is free. Applicable federal and provincial taxes (GST, HST, or the relevant provincial tax) are shown before you confirm the order, so the total at checkout is the total on your statement.

That also means we do not run permanent "70% off" sales. A price that is always discounted is not a discount, it is a marketing device. When we run a promotion, it is time-limited, it is real, and the comparison price is one we actually charged.

Delivery, Explained Honestly

We ship free to every address in Canada.

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days. Delivery takes 15 to 20 business days from order confirmation, depending on your location; remote areas and the territories can take up to 25 business days. We deliver within 30 days of the contract unless a longer period is agreed.

We know that is not next-day delivery, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Keeping delivery free for everyone means using economical carrier routes, and those routes take time. What we can promise is that the estimate on this page is the estimate we plan around, that you receive a tracking number as soon as your parcel leaves our warehouse, and that if your order is genuinely lost we will replace it or refund it.

Returns Without the Argument

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, we will put it right. If you simply change your mind, you have 30 days from delivery to return unused items in their original condition for a refund.

There is no restocking fee. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of approval. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item was damaged, defective, or incorrect, in which case we cover it.

We do not sell your personal information. You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, and withdraw consent at any time.

A Note on Photographs and Colours

We photograph products as accurately as we can, but screens vary. A shade that looks charcoal on one display can look navy on another. If a colour or material matters to you and you are unsure, ask us before ordering and we will describe the item as precisely as we can.

Packaging and Waste

We keep packaging as lean as the product allows. Where a supplier offers a recyclable or reduced-plastic option at reasonable cost, we choose it. We do not make sweeping environmental claims we cannot verify. When we can point to a specific improvement — a smaller box, paper tape, a removed plastic insert — we will tell you exactly what changed.

Calvessira is still small, and we intend to keep the parts that work: a focused catalogue, honest pricing, free delivery, a real return policy, and a support inbox a person actually reads.

As the store grows we will add products carefully rather than quickly, shorten delivery times where we can, and keep publishing policies in plain English instead of legal fog. If we change something important, we will say so on this page and in our policies, with a new date at the top.
